A freelancer's translational service - for reasonable pay!
Please have a look at the table below for orientation. Because the real effort involved with high quality translation plus conversion, editing and formatting issues, depends on specific situation, my pricing is always negotiable.

*) In alignment with common practice, the average calcul is now based on standard pages of about 1800 Characters per page which equals 30 rows of 60 characters.

Terms of payment

After the translation has been received and accepted by customer, I will prepare a record accounting all services and their cost. Normally, the net price will never exceed the value we have agreed before.
Note: Commercial customers normally underlie national tax legislation rules :-/
Preferred terms of payment:
Germany and EC-Countries - Normal bank transfer or cheque
International - Cheque, PayPal (available soon)
Apart from these modes, other arrangements may be considerable.

In addition to my translational service, I provide proofreading in german language at a page-based rate from 5 Euros up. These documents will be checked for the new german orthography and punctuation rules regularly, with respect to the customer's special demands for terminology and style.
Furthermore, I offer transcreation, primarily in German language.
For the translation of literary contents, I suggest contract-of-service agreement.
